The goal
A story before the stage.
Hanger Clinic wanted to introduce Katy Sullivan through a film that could play before her appearances at a series of events. Her story spans acting and Paralympic athletics. The documentary needed to bring those parts of her life together and give the audience a sense of the person they were about to hear from.
We filmed with Katy over two days in Chicago, moving between multiple locations connected to her life. An interview at Chicago Shakespeare Theater brought her work on stage into the story, alongside the everyday moments and athletic experience that shape her perspective.
