REAL PEOPLE.
A REASON TO CARE.

What we bring

  • Story research and development
  • Interview planning
  • Documentary direction
  • Location and observational filming
  • Editorial, original sound, and finishing

Follow the person, not a script of talking points.

Founder stories, athlete profiles, and films about makers work when the audience connects with a person. We prepare deeply, then leave room for the honest moments that give a documentary its character.

Build a story with a purpose.

A branded documentary should feel like a film worth watching while staying connected to your brand. We shape the narrative around the subject’s experience and the role your brand plays in that story.

Founder films for launches.

For THIS Gym in Austin, we shaped founder Tim Riley’s story into a documentary released on his Instagram several months before the gym opened. HXM led strategy, creative development, production and postproduction, giving the launch a personal introduction before early bird signups began.

Explore Warrior, an independent founder documentary, a passion project about Evan Duvall and the creative community behind ONO.

Before we start

A FEW ANSWERS.

Who is a good subject for a branded documentary?

A founder, customer, athlete, maker, or community member with a meaningful connection to the brand can be a strong starting point. The key is a real story with a clear perspective.

Do the people in the film need acting experience?

No. Documentary work is built around real people. We guide the interview and filming process to help subjects feel comfortable and speak in their own words.

Can a documentary become shorter social content?

Yes. When planned in advance, interviews and footage can also support shorter edits for social channels and campaigns. We agree on those deliverables as part of the scope.
